In very good general condition bearing a nice untouched even brown patina throughout. Spring showing some oxidation damage (see photos). Mid to late 19th Century. 5 ¼ inch overall length. No visible markings. Sound and functional with original brass liner. Designed to alarm the household in case of an intruder by creating a loud noise. A rare variation !
