In very good condition. Circa 1805. Absolutely authentic showing normal wear and a couple tears. Some stitching repairs in areas. 19 1/2 inch wide by 7 1/4 inch high on back side. About 21 1/2 inch size. Complete with its tri-color cockade, silk bullion, button and leather sweat band. Very well marked J. PINAUD F.sseur De S.M. IMPERIALE 87. RICHELIEU (J. Pinaud maker of his Imperial Majesty...) original inside silk liner with some losses. A very rare and highly desirable 1st Empire Napoleonic chapeau!
