RARE GERMAN DREYSE 19th CENTURY DOUBLE SHOTGUN: 

In fine overall condition. 42 ¾ inch overall length. 25 5/8 inch barrel. 12 gauge. Fine walnut stock with checkered wrist. Some minor repaired hairline cracks in the wrist and receiver section (see photos). Fine metal retaining most of its slightly faded original finish with some small blemished areas. Beautiful engraving on miscellaneous parts and silver inlaid animals on trigger guard and opening lever. Fine horn pistol grip. Wire silver inlaid decor on receiver. Excellent action and bores. Well marked “DREYSE SOMMERDA” on barrels’ top. A very attractive and early German cartridge shotgun!
