In very good general condition. 8mm caliber. 25 inch barrel. Very good metal bearing a pleasing smooth age patina throughout. Excellent action and fine rifled bore.  Fine markings with "St-Etienne" in gilt letters. Superb floral engraving on frame. Very good checkered walnut stock with light handling marks. One small repair at toe (see photos). Nice original hard rubber Giffard buttplate. A scarce and desirable 19th Century air gun !
