VERY RARE RUSSIAN EXPERIMENTAL BERDAN II REPEATER RIFLE: 

An extremely rare and perhaps unique experimental Russian Model 1870 Berdan II repeater rifle. Period cut-down probably for presentation and travel purpose. 10.66mm caliber. The barrel doest not show the Typical Russian arsenal markings but some numbers and inspector stamps. Was never fitted for a rear-sight. Very unusual magazine and trigger guard device (see photos). Fine metal and very good stock with a crude repair in the rear section. Excellent action. Exceptional!
