UNUSUAL ENGLISH LACY & CO LONDON PERCUSSION MUSKET : 

In very good general condition. Circa 1842. 55 inch overall length. 18 mm caliber. Very good stock with very good inspector stamps... Some handling marks and a couple of minor repaired hairline cracks around the lock plate (see photos). Very good metal with a smooth age patina and some superficial staining throughout. Fine “Lacy & Co London” markings on lock plate. Entirely brass mounted. Good proof marks on breech. Excellent action. Good smooth bore with an oxidation layer throughout. Ramrod appears to be a replacement. A very attractive British musket !
