FRENCH CONVERSION of A GERMAN MAUSER 1871 RIFLE: 

Converted by the French for Uruguay. In very good original condition. 6.5mm Caliber. Original cleaning rod. All matching serial numbers. Very good metal bearing a pleasing and even patina throughout. Very good stock with normal handling marks and a minor (and tight) hairline stress crack on the right side of the wrist (see photos). Fine markings. Excellent action and very good bore with fine rifling. Leather sling. A desirable Mauser rifle!
