VERY RARE AUSTRIAN FRUWIRTH MODEL 1869 CARBINE: 

In very good general condition. 11mm caliber. 41 inch overall length. Fine metal retaining most original finish having turned to a smooth plum color throughout. Well marked “Ferd Fruwirth” with serial number 2962 on receiver ring. No other visible serial numbers. Simple fixed rear sight appears to be original to the gun. Excellent action and bore with excellent rifling. Very good stock having been coated with some protective lacquer at some time (should be easy to remove). Some normal handling marks. Original sling swivels. Probably the hardest military Austrian long arm to come by!
