NICE RESTORED US MODEL 1892 KRAG SPRINGFIELD RIFLE:

This is an 1892 / 1896 rifle that was restored back to its original 1892 configuration. 30-40 caliber. Serial number 4013. 1894 marked receiver. Faint 1895 stamped wrist cartouche. Very good metal showing some of the original finish mixed with a pleasing smooth patina. Fine markings. Very good stock having been cleaned at some time with the rod channel re-cut and fitted to an 1892 buttplate. Excellent action and very good bore with very good rifling. Cleaning rod is a later replacement. Nice !
