NICE US MODEL 1868 SPRINGFIELD TRAPDOOR RIFLE :

In very good plus general condition. 50 centerfire caliber. Very good plus metal bearing a light and smooth patina throughout. Excellent markings. 1873 dated lock plate and 1869 dated breech block. Very good plus stock showing some light handling marks and 4 light inspector cartouches. Excellent action and fine bore with strong rifling. Cleaning rod is a later replacement. A nice and desirable Springfield rifle !
