NICE US M.1873 SPRINGFIELD TRAPDOOR RIFLE BAYONET: 

In fine original condition. 20 7/8 inch overall length. 19mm inside socket diameter. Excellent 1metal retaining most of its bright original finish. Excellent US stamp on ricasso. In its nice original steel scabbard retaining a good amount of its original finish mixed with a pleasing patina. Complete with its original US marked brass and leather frog with faint “ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL” markings. A nice and classic US bayonet!
