Rare 44-40 caliber version with an original 5 inch barrel. In very good general condition with mechanic needing help (problems with extractor, hammer locking and timing). Serial number 905 on frame, grips and latch. No serial number on cylinder and number 350 on barrel. Very good metal bearing a pleasing & smooth age patina throughout. Very good markings. Very good original hard rubber grips showing some repairs on the bottom section. A scarce and desirable Smith & Wesson that would be worth restoring !
