RARE NAPOLEONIC FOUCHE SIGNED DOCUMENT : Joseph Fouche 1763-1820, Duc
d'Otrante. Napoleon Bonaparte's head of internal security, Joseph Fouche became
Minister of Police in 1799. Despite his assistance, Bonaparte was nervous of
Fouche's power and he was removed from office for two years, before being
re-employed as security chief. Joseph Fouche remains one of the 1st Empire key
personalities. The document is 9 1/4inch high by 7 1/4 wide, in very good
condition and absolutely genuine. It is dated of the Year 10 of the
revolutionary calendar (1802) and signed Fouche. A rare and desirable Napoleonic
